Mesa Contemporary Arts (MCA) Museum is a visual arts exhibition space committed to the presentation, interpretation, collection, documentation and preservation of contemporary visual arts with a special focus on traditional media. Dedicated to presenting exceptional regional, national and international exhibitions, Mesa Contemporary Arts Museum provides support and advancement to artists world-wide through solo, group and juried exhibitions while promoting educational opportunities within our community.

Sep 13 - Jan 5, 2025: Shimmering Mirage: Anila Quayyum Agha
Artist Anila Quayyum Agha wants to tempt the visitors to take a few moments to contemplate the connections and find commonalities between people of diverse backgrounds and cultures.

Safety Blankets: Discourse on Neurodivergence gathers textile artworks by 16 artists depicting their lives and experiences as neurodivergent people. Initially a Phoenix-area solo exhibition by Charissa Lucille, the project transformed when Lucille invited 15 artists from Arizona and beyond to collaboratively expand on the show's ideas, keeping with the ethos of encouraging conversation and community.

B. Jean Larson and Susan Allred's artistic processes are repetitive and meditative, and as such, they reflect on traditionally undervalued "women's work,” reimagining labor-intensive crafts that are typically seen as merely decorative or functional.

Stephanie Metz’s grouping of fiber sculptures that invites physical touch by viewers. White cocoon-like ‘Hanging Pods’ each offer intriguing opportunities for connection with the art—and with other viewers.
