The Beauty of Nature: Zuill Bailey with Visit Mesa and Mesa Arts Center
Visit Mesa and Mesa Arts Center collaborate to share the beauty of nature, part of new marketing campaign to lure back visitors!
Earlier this year, Visit Mesa partnered with the performing arts team at Mesa Arts Center to showcase the stunning beauty of the Sonoran Desert in one of the first collaboration campaigns between the two organizations. Over the course of two days, Visit Mesa filmed GRAMMY® Award-winning and international classical sensation Zuill Bailey as he performed the Bach Cello Suites in Mesa’s adjacent outdoor playground, the Tonto National Forest. Bailey is widely considered one of the premiere cellists in the world. Now this footage is being released to invite visitors to start planning travel to the Southwest.
Visit Mesa’s marketing agency HAPI will elevate the new campaign footage of Mesa in a way that has never been done before for the destination marketing organization. New campaigns will strategically combine the sentimental essence of classical music with the aesthetics of Mesa’s majestic scenery to evoke emotional responses and connections among new audiences outside of Arizona. Several short-form videos will be produced with Zuill Bailey performing in scenic outdoor locations throughout Mesa, conveying the natural and soothing connection of sound and site. The videos will be served over different video media channels targeting contextually relevant consumers, generating awareness for Visit Mesa and Mesa Arts Center.

Social media fans of Visit Mesa will also see footage rolled out on all their accounts to further serve up inspiration about travel to Arizona’s third-largest city. In addition, last installment of Mesa Arts Center’s Classical Music Inside Out Series Zuill Bailey will take place this Thursday, April 15. This live performance conducted on Zoom will feature the Bach Cello Suites Part I. Admission to this virtual event is free to the public but registration is required.
