Arizona Commemorative Air Force Museum (AZCAF)
The Commemorative Air Force Airbase Arizona has 55,000 square-feet of historic war-time aircraft, exhibits, videos, WWII artifacts, and memorabilia. Enjoy an experience history like never before. Experience what it's like to ride in the Bombardier seat when you take a ride in an actual World War II airplane. View the beautiful Arizona desert scenery from the open cockpit Stearman.
As a non-profit, AZCAF maintains and fly aircrafts like the B-17G "Sentimental Journey," B-25J "Maid in the Shade," as well as a SNJ, C-47 Skytrain/Dakota, C-45 Expeditor, PT-17 Stearman, and an L-16 Grasshopper. Restoration projects have included a MiG-15, Grumman Guardian, and a Sikorsky helicopter. The museum also offers a museum.
